"He has revealed to you (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel" Qur'an Surah 3v3
Al Haq means "The Truth" in Arabic and is one of the 99 names of "Allah" according to Islam. On this page we will look at the claims of Islam, the Qur'an and Muhammad and whether they correspond to the God and Teachings of the Bible, which the Qur'an confirms as "guidance and light" and as preserved. The "truths' of Islam are only superficially similar, but fundamentally different to the Teachings or Doctrines of the Bible, especially concerning the person of Jesus Christ, and his Salvation.
I lived in Bradford, West Yorkshire for many years which has a large Muslim Community, and I was able to engage with many Muslims with the Gospel, and so I have still have a heart for Muslims to reach them with the truth of Jesus, many of which Islam denies.
On the YouTube Channel and also my TikTok Channel I Have many videos that address the issues of the Qur'an and the challenges that are brought forth by Islam's top Apologists. Debates, discussions about the claims of the Qur'an and issues concerning Allah, Muhammad, Jesus and Paul. I'm sure that many Muslims and Christians will gain insight into this important conversation that is vital to the Apologetics of both faiths and to determine what is indeed Al Haq (the truth) and what is false, using Scripture and the Claims of both faiths!
The Qur'an is the Holy Book of the Muslims. It is about 2/3 of the length of the New Testament, and contains 114 Surah's (Chapters) each divided by various numbers of Ayat (Verses). It is also divided into Meccan (610-622 AD) and Medina Surah's (623-632). It is written in Arabic, but is available today in many English Translations, even though the Arabic is preferred and insisted upon to read and to recite its words. The Qur'an is to Muslims the eternal speech of "Allah" as revealed to Muhammad in Arabia in the 7th Century, through the angel Jibril (Gabriel). "Allah" (supposedly YHWH of the Bible) also "revealed" the Taurat (Torah) to Musah (Moses), the Psalms (to David) and the Injil (Gospel) to Isa Ibn Mariam (Jesus son of Mary). The Qur'an affirms the Torah and the Gospel as the authoritative and preserved revelations of "Allah", even though the Qur'an itself contradicts them on several core doctrines. Most Muslims today accuse Jews and Christians of having corrupted the previous Scriptures, but there is no evidence of this as there is much more manuscript evidence to show that the Bible is the same today as it was before, during and since Muhammad, and the Qur'an calls Jews and Christians "People of the Book/Scripture" in the present tense, giving it the authority it deserves. "Allah" calls Jews and Christians to judge by their Scriptures, and in doing so have to reject Muhammad as a prophet and the Qur'an as a continuing or progressive revelation, due to its overwhelming contradiction to their texts. The Qur'an seems to have a very vague and limited knowledge of the Bible or a grasp of its core teachings and yet Muslims claim it to be "correcting" some or "refuting" others, I believe this is understandable for Muhammad, an illiterate man, but certainly not God. Muslims recite some of the Qur'ans prayers 5 times daily in Arabic towards the Kaaba in Mecca, which before Islam was a place of Idols. The Qur'an was compiled from mostly the memories of his companions and from scraps of writings many years after Muhammad died, by the third Caliph Uthman who collected all he could to make a compiled controlled standard Qur'anic text for all followers, and all the remains were destroyed. The rest is history.
We will go into further investigations into Muhammad, the Qur'an and Islam. My videos and articles are not an attack on Muslims, but a request to question Islam and hopefully draw some to the real Jesus of the Gospels, the good news of redemption and salvation, that Muhammad or the Caliphs & Imams have since been unable to offer.
